SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) โ€” Savannah Christian volleyball suffered a season-ended defeat to Lovett three sets to zero.

The Raiders showed signs of a comeback in the third set but were unable to string several points together to take a set, as Lovett delivered the sweep.

Regardless of the heart-breaking outcome, Savannah Christian Head Coach Julie Jones said she is proud of her seniors.

“It’s been a really fun time fun ride with them,” Jones said. “There’s nine of them and I got to see them growing up playing volleyball since they were 12. It’s the end of that era and I’m really proud of them.”

Lovett will advance to play Hebron Christian on Oct. 26 at 5:00 p.m.
