Our Severe-Duty 1/2″ Thick High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Arbormats Support 60 Tons of Weight. Cranes, Trucks, Chippers, Skid Steers or Stump Grinders. Diamond pattern cleats on both sides are available reduce slippage, or single sided to avoid imprints on asphalt surfaces. Our mats come standard with routed handles on all 4 sides. Most of our competitors either charge extra for them, or don\’t offer handles at all. These mats are made of virgin HDPE. Not the much cheaper black recycled HDPE materials that crack easily in cold temperatures. Our clear mats (they appear white) let enough sunlight through while keeping heat absorption to a minimum. This keeps the grass below from getting burnt out if left down for an extended period of time.
