McIntosh County College Superintendent Melissa Williams introduced Monday afternoon that McIntosh County Colleges will go to far flung studying and far flung paintings days for Tuesday, Jan. 21, and Wednesday, Jan. 22, because of the possibility of hazardous iciness climate within the segment.
Next-school actions, practices and occasions are prohibited for each days, together with the YMCA and Boys & Women Membership.
Academics and/or college officers will submit assignments by way of midday on Tuesday.
Dr. Williams stated, “We will continue to collaborate closely with local EMA officials to monitor the weather conditions. Announcements will be made on Wednesday regarding our plans for Thursday.
“The safety of our students and families are the priority. Please stay warm in your preparations for the wintry weather ahead.”
