SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — The Islands boys football group has a prospect to achieve the environment quarterfinals with a win on Friday.
The sharks will face a regular opponent in the second one spherical of the environment playoffs: Johnson. Those two performed again on Feb. 27 and Islands received, 4-2.
Islands breezed moment Dawson County 8-0 within the first spherical.
Gamers say the largest excess this while is the group chemistry. They are saying avid gamers are taking the sport extra severely than in earlier years.
“We’ve had a lot of ups and downs,” stated goalie Wilmer Martinez. “We’ve played some competitive teams. I say we’re in a good spot. We have a good path to the state.”
“We’ve lost three games in terms of PKs to very good teams,” head teacher Justin Brantley stated. “Of course, every game you go into you hope to win. But it seems like throughout the season, we’ve gotten something out of those losses.”
Johnson and Islands face off Might 2 at 7 p.m. at Islands Stadium.
