SPRINGFIELD, Ga. (WSAV) — The Effingham County volleyball defeated South Effingham at Effingham County High School on Tuesday.
The win gave Effingham County the season series.
Effingham County won a back-and-forth first set. Effingham started to pull away in the first with the match tied at 16. The Rebels scored four straight points to force a timeout from South.
Effingham went on to win the match in straight sets.
Effingham County has now won nine straight matches. Their next match is a tri-match with The Habersham School and Savannah Arts Academy.
The next match for South Effingham is Thursday Sept. 26 against Bradwell Institute.
