GUYTON, Ga. (WSAV) — The South Effingham football team started a stretch of three games in 10 days with a contest against Glynn Academy at home on Oct. 8.

In the first quarter, the Mustangs had a punt blocked in the first quarter giving Glynn Academy great starting field position around the South Effingham’s 20-yard line.

But the South’s defense was up to the task only allowing a field goal. In the second quarter, Glynn scored as soon as they touched the ball to take a 10-0 lead.

Glynn Academy went on to win, 31-0.

The next game for the Mustangs is Friday, Oct. 14 at 6 p.m. at home against Evans.
