Each year, Georgia Trend recognizes 40 of the most successful and civic-minded people in the state under the age of 40. These young leaders are your neighbors who might work or volunteer in your community. They live in various regions of the state, from Statham to Savannah, Arabi to Augusta, Macon to Metro Atlanta. Many work in education, business and nonprofits; they are entrepreneurs, executive directors and medical professionals. They are ambitious, hardworking and able to manage multiple projects in a seemingly effortless manner. Perhaps most importantly, many are drawn to service to others both inside and outside of their jobs.
