SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) โ Itโs the tenth week of Friday Night Blitz! Hereโs the rundown of what happened under the Friday night lights this week.
The biggest upset of the night happened in Richmond Hill. The Wildcats defeated Valdosta, ranked No. 4 in Class AAAAAA, 35-14. With the win, Richmond Hill is almost guaranteed a spot in the state playoffs for the second consecutive season.
In Region 3-AAA, Jenkins scored a razor-thin victory over Long County, 18-17. Jenkins is now tied for second with Long County at 5-1 in region play, however Jenkins owns the tiebreaker because of the head-to-head victory tonight.
