Darlene Lotson Chaney

Darlene Lotson Cheney, 68, of Brunswick, previously of Carneghan, died June 12, 2025.

She grew up in Carneghan Emanuel Baptist Church and next joined St. Paul African Methodist Church, the place she served as a Sunday college lecturer, stewardess and choir member. She loved cruising and vacationing along with her public, planting plants, feeding the group cats and being part of the “birdies”.

Darlene is survived by means of her husband, Michael Anthony Chaney; kids, Michael and Michelle Chaney, and diverse alternative relations.

A walk-through viewing can be held from 4 to six p.m. on Thursday, June 19, at Darien Funeral House.

Funeral products and services can be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 20, at Payne Chapel AME Church, 2200 Albany St., in Brunswick.

Darien Funeral House is accountable for preparations.
