As Megan Thee Stallion gears up to release her fourth studio album โMegan Act IIโ on Friday, thereโs one rapper whoโs trying to get in on her next project: DaBaby.
Speaking to N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN on their โDrink Champsโ podcast recently, the โBlame It On Babyโ rapper revealed that he wants to do more music with the โMamushiโ rapper and that he still has love for her despite their current rift.
For context, the two previously collaborated on hits like โCash Shit,โ โCry Baby,
and โNastyโ back in 2019 and 2020 respectively. But thanks to DaBabyโs alliance with Tory Lanezโthe rapper convicted of shooting Megan in the foot back in July 2020โand DaBabyโs own issues, the two of them havenโt collaborated on a song ever since.
Now, it appears he wants that old thing back with Megan as evidenced by his sentiments on the podcast.
โI got love for Meg. Me and Meg did some dope shit together. And itโs good to see her rise amongst the obstacles. Iโm manifesting a song with Glo and Meg together and Baby,โ he said. โI think thatโs the way me and Meg should pop back out because I feel like ainโt none of these n***asโand no disrespectโthat yโall are making music with can really embody that.โ
He added: โCome home baby, you ainโt gotta be making that lame shit with none of these other n****s. You can, we can come get it in. Or we can not. I know how to talk that shit.โ
However, once the clip of DaBabyโs words went viral on social media, folks online were quick to say that they werenโt here for it.
