CHATHAM COUNTY, Ga. (WSAV)—Chatham County will offer two cooling centers for residents on Saturday.

Thousands are left without power in Chatham County, according to outage maps. Chatham County’s cooling centers will be places to recharge your devices so you can stay connected, or if you just need to get out of the heat for a bit to recharge yourself, they said.

There will be two locations available to do that on Saturday. One is at the Empowerment Center at 4704 Augusta Road in Garden City which will be open 9:00 a.m.—7:00 p.m., and Compassion Christian Church at 50 Al Henderson Blvd in Savannah will be open noon-5:00 p.m.
