Are Canada's Wonderlands rides safe? Watch this video! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CDI0fRgWfF4

Yukon Strikers sub pump and safety features worked as usual and the ride opened later that evening.

Seeing that rain reminded me of my first trip back to wonderland at about age 11. We were about to hit splash works when the sky opened. Glad everyone and Yukon striker are OK. I believe that was the same period as my eyes shut front row or near front row on ๐Ÿ‰ ๐Ÿ”ฅ

I'm wondering if some of their drain pipes are gunked up. Might need to scope them. Something similar happened at my parents place about 25 years ago and the storm drains backed up into everyone's sewage drains. My parents were lucky they had a higher basement then our neighbors.

  17. @myopnonmusic5525 on December 17, 2024 10:16 am

  27. @chelsey1087 on December 17, 2024 10:16 am

I was there yesterday during that storm. I was in the line for Leviathan, the rain started and I stayed under the Leviathan tent the entire time during the rain (about 40 minutes to an hour) Rain still went through the tents so luckily I had an umbrella and I used it

Again, this is not dangerous folks~~ The team at Canada's Wonderland knew this would happen, so they built a pump system so the water can be drained in case this happens ๐Ÿ™‚
