Bruce Townsend, 69, gave up the ghost Thursday, January 31, 2025, at his place of abode.ย
Bruce was once born in Brunswick, however lived in Townsend his entire day.ย He loved being a shrimper prior to depart and favored to tinker with various things.ย
He was once preceded in loss of life by way of his oldsters, Livingston Calhoun Townsend, Sr. and Ruthlyn McIntosh Townsend; and a brother, Cal Livingston, Jr.ย
He was once a member of South Newport Baptist Church in Townsend.
Survivors are his sisters and brothers-in-law, Donna Ginn (Robert) of Townsend, and Rene Jacobs (Travis) of Nahunta; nephews, Brian Ginn (Fain) of St. Simons Island, and Joey Saunds (Kibrie) of Nahunta; niece, Ruthie Wesley (Will) of East Palatka, FL; uncle and aunt, D.L. McIntosh (MaryAnn) of Shellman Bluff; a number of superior nieces, nephews, cousins, and a significant other, Beverly Younger of Townsend.
Graveside services and products might be on Saturday, February 1, at 2:30 p.m.ย A visitation might be held half-hour prior at Davis Cemetery in McIntosh County.ย Bro. Danny Stilwell might be officiating.
