ATHENS, Ga. (WSAV) – The University of Georgia (UGA) has announced that it will be partnering with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to test U.S. dairy supplies for avian influenza. Testing is being done to help reduce the threat of avian influenza due to the recent Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza A (H5N1) outbreak. GUYTON, Ga. (WSAV) — The South Effingham football team started a stretch of three games in 10 days with a contest against Glynn Academy at home on Oct. 8. In the first quarter, the Mustangs had a punt blocked in the first quarter giving Glynn Academy great starting field position around the South Effingham’s 20-yard line.
