Annual Turkey Trot 5K brings masses to downtown for pleasure run and amusing

Each and every 12 months since 2008, the Turkey Trot 5K has served as one of the most biggest fundraisers for the Bulloch County Base for Folk Training.

On Saturday, Nov. 23, greater than 200 runners navigated the three.1-mile route throughout the 2024 race that began and completed in entrance of Town Corridor in downtown Statesboro.

Vince Moore, a captain within the Statesboro Hearth Area, runs the 2024 Turkey Trot together with his canine “Moose.” Moore, who is also a volunteer with the Bulloch County Hearth Area in Sign up, mentioned Moose is a 2-year-old “double doodle” – a combo of a Labra-doodle and a Yellowish-doodle. The duo completed the race in 23:07, which Moore mentioned is a great life to run the three.1 miles with Moose at his facet.

Turkey Trot 2024
