SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – A one-time disaster assistance payment has been made available to eligible residents of Georgia in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene.

Registration is required to be eligible for this one-time payment of $750.

The payment is intended to help with essential items like food, water, baby formula and other emergency supplies.

Once finished registering for disaster assistance, individuals may also qualify to receive disaster-related financial assistance to repair storm-related damage to homes and replace personal property.
