Beaufort County Offices to open Monday

BEAUFORT COUNTY, S.C. (WSAV) – All Beaufort County operations will resume normal business hours Monday, September 30.

Storm Debris Disposal
County Convenience Centers are currently open for regular business hours. Decals will still be required for residents to dispose of storm debris, but the limit of three visits per week has been waived through Tuesday, October 1. 

As a reminder, convenience centers are for residential trash and debris only.

The South Carolina Emergency Management Division has set up a toll-free hotline. Operators with the State’s Public Information Phone System are available 24 hours a day for as long as needed. Hurricane Helene Hotline: 1-866-246-0133.

Hurricane Season runs through November 30. There are still developing storms in the Atlantic, and there is always a possibility that we will see more hurricane-related weather this year. Remember to make plans and preparations for you and your family. Follow the National Hurricane Center for more information and forecasts.
