The White House took to Instagram with a WILD post thatโs got folks raising their eyebrows! On Friday an account representing Trumpโs temporary home shared a controversial take on DEI and immigration. The bold message clowned diversity, equity, and inclusion, while celebrating deportations.
The DEI Post That Shook Social Media
The White Houseโs Instagram page had social media talking on May 2 with a repost of an X post that read, โDeport Every Illegal.โ And if that wasnโt enough, the WH declared itโs the only definition of DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) it is riding behind. The tweet was captioned, โThe only DEI we support: Deport Every Illegal.โ Whoever runs the White Houseโs IG page doubled down with a slick, โYupโ for the caption.
Then, in another tweet, the White House continued its attack on DEI, asserting it was โgarbageโwe lit the match.โ Both posts are part of the Trump administrationโs ongoing immigration stance.
DEI was garbageโwe lit the match.

The Roomies Respond To The White House Post
Framing their dislike for DEI in such a way has folks side-eyeing the comments hard. People had some STRONG views about the White House sharing not-so-nice thoughts on DEI. For example,ย Roomies sounded off in the comments section of TSRโs post. Hereโs what some had to say:
@m.garavani wrote, โIโll never forgive yโall for putting us through this for 4 years.โ
@jvaldez71 commented, โRegardless of policies, this is by far the most immature and childish administration in US history. Itโs extremely embarrassing to be an American right now.โ
@nessie_blaze added, โSomebody reset the game.. blow on the cartridge or somethin cause this is outta control.โ
@thepeopleschamp242 wrote, โThe most Ghetto uncivilized and unprofessional administration. Like be for real๐คท๐ฟโโ๏ธโ

@itsofficialqveen expressed, โWhewww the fact the white house making bold statements like this on social media due to his admin is wowwโ

The White House Has BEEN Stirring The Pot
The White House is clearly on a mission to keep peopleโs social media timelines spicy, as this ainโt the first time it has flexed controversial takes. On January 24, just days after Donald Trumpโs inauguration, the White House shared a post showing handcuffed migrants being led into the back of a cargo aircraft. The text at the top of the photo read, โPromises made. Promises KEPT.โ Meanwhile, the lower half of the image included the words, โDeportation Flights Have Begun.โ
The White House shared some additional words in the caption, writing, โJust as he promised, President Trump is sending a strong message to the world: those who enter the United States illegally will face serious consequences.โ
The following month, on Valentineโs Day, the White House posted a pink graphic with President Trump and border czar Tom Homanโs faces, with the text, โRoses are red, violets are blue. Come here illegally, and weโll deport you.โ The caption for the accompanying photo read, โHappy Valentineโs Day.โ
And letโs not forget February 19, when the WH celebrated getting rid of New York Cityโs congestion pricing plan with a post on X, writing, โCONGESTION PRICING IS DEAD. Manhattan, and all of New York, is SAVED. LONG LIVE THE KING!โ The account even included a fake Time magazine cover with Trump as a crowned king.

Trumpโs Immigration Crackdown Is In Full Effect
โThe brave men and women of ICE protect our families, friends and neighbors by removing public safety and national security threats from our communities,โ said acting Director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Todd M. Lyons. โDuring President Trumpโs first 100 days, ICE alone has arrested over 65,000 illegal aliens โ including 2,288 gang members from Tren de Aragua, MS-13, 18th Street and other gangs. Additionally, 1,329 were accused or convicted of sex offenses, and 498 were accused or convicted of murder.โ
