TEP CENTER WILL HOST DESEGREGATION GALA ON NOV. 15

The Tate, Etienne Prevost (TEP Middle) will praise the sixty fourth per annum of the desegregation of society faculties in Untouched Orleans with a gala Friday, Nov. 15, on the TEP Middle. 5909 St. Claude Ave.

The TEP Middle is a mixed-use facility that includes training and exhibition range devoted to the historical past of Untouched Orleans society faculty desegregation, civil rights, and restorative justice. Housed within the renovated historical McDonogh 19 faculty buidling, the Middle is known as in honor of the 3 girls, Leona Tate. Gail Etienne, and  the past due Tessie Prevost, who, as six-year-old ladies, was the primary Dark scholars to combine McDonogh 19 on Nov. 14, 1960.
